In my 20 years of service to the Baltimore County Police force, I gained an amazing perspective on how positive interactions with the community can lead to significant change. As a 40-year citizen of Carroll County I am eager to bring that perspective to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.
The community mind-set begins within. As sheriff, I would rely on the feedback from those officers within the department to share feedback and ideas to improve public safety. Career advancement for hardworking officers would be preserved.
Crime doesn't stop at the county line. Coordinating with surrounding jurisdictions would be a priority.
